Our May speaker will be Ann Matheson, who will be presenting her medallion quilts, and explaining how to use large-scale prints in your quilts.
On June 23, we'll be having our Summer Potluck Luncheon, complete with a Fashion Show of YOUR quilted/sewn garments, and a display of the Longarm Group's Challenge Projects for this year. We'll also be remembering quilters and family members we have lost during the past year.
If you have an entry for the Fashion Show, please fill out THIS FORM and bring it to the May 26 meeting, or email it to Peggy Tanger or Karen Hollingsworth.
For the potluck, bring whatever dish you would like to share! You do not need to bring serving utensils, and please put your name on any serving dishes that you would like back.
Our April speaker was Bob Purcell, of YLI Threads, who came in on Zoom. He knows an amazing amount about thread and needles! He has a great 12-page "Thread Mastery Institute" booklet in .pdf format that you might want to read. It's full of great information, and he'll take questions via Zoom.
